See a side of Ecuador that not everyone gets to see. During your trip you will be able to see the real Ecuador through experiencing the native culture of the locals and the natural beauty of the Andean region. On this fast paced excursion through a large part of our country, we will begin in Quito, the country's beautiful and everchanging capital. Shortly thereafter, we will head to the Cotopaxi, where we will stay at a cozy lodge at the foot of the volcano. Here we can go out and explore the region by hiking the nearby trails or stay in and admire the beauty of the Cotopaxi while sipping on some local tea. Then we will visit the Quilotoa lagoon at the crater of an old volcano which is well known for its mysteriously green waters. Here you can go on a short hike before we continue on to the city of Riobamba. Here we will be able to visit local markets and find a variety hand crafted things. The next day, we will head to Cuenca. On the way, we will visit the ruins of Ingapirca, home of the Incas many centuries ago. The next day we will be able to properly explore the beautiful city of Cuenca. The next day we will visit the incredible national park of El Cajas. With tremendous altitude, it will surely take your breath away. Our last stop on this trip will be the lively city of Guayaquil on the coast.
