During just six days in Ecuador, you will be able to experience a diverse combination of activities, landscapes, and cultures. We will travel through the highly elevated Andes mountain range, see the more exotic side of Ecuador through a visit to the Cloudforest, and experience the indigenous cultures of the Ecuadorian people. Beginning in Quito, the beautiful capital of Ecuador, you will immediately sense a change in everyday life from anything that you are accustomed to. Shortly thereafter, we will take you to the Equator line at latitud 0 where you can visit the monument and experience the cultural museums that explain a little bit about our culture and history. After that destination, we head to the Cloudforest. Here we will be able to see a much more exotic and tropical climates and have a glimpse at the intense biodiversity that Ecuador is so priveledged to have. From here, we will head to the town of Otavalo, where you will be able to indulge in the indigenous culture of the Andean people. The artisan market in the middle of town is also a great place to see the typical hand-made wonders that our people pride themselves making everyday, and a great place to buy gifts to bring back home! Our next adventure will be going to the Cotopaxi. Here we will be staying in a cozy hotel at the foot of the mountain, where you can go on excursions to nearby waterfalls, bike riding around the trails, and sit back with a nice cup of our local tea, if you desire. The next day, we will head back to Quito after having experienced Just a Taste of what Ecuador has to offer.
