Day 1: Santiago City tour
Welcome to Chile!
Upon your arrival to Santiago airport. Condor Travel’s staff will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Please look for the sign with your name on it.
Dynamic and cosmopolitan Santiago is a vital and versatile city. Home to many events showcasing the very best of Chilean culture, it also hosts superb international festivals of sound, flavor, and color. The Chilean capital breathes new life into all its visitors!
The city’s diversity shines through in its many contrasting neighborhoods. Set out to explore the city streets and you will discover beautiful and original art galleries, design shops and handicraft markets, as well as a great selection of restaurants, bars and cafes. Night owls can enjoy a taste of lively Latino nightlife in hip Bellavista!
Half day tour Santiago
Described by the international media as a surprising destination, Santiago stands out for being a cosmopolitan and modern city that perfectly combines its traditions with a modern outlook. The tour will take you to visit the heart of the city and its emblematic sites such as the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Santiago’s Central Postal Office and its Municipality. We will also visit the Moneda Palace, which is the government’s headquarters as well as the traditional neighborhoods of the historic city center. The tour also includes a visit to the Santa Lucia hill, named Huelén by the natives. It is a real urban oasis in the center of the city. There we will learn more about Chile’s history and enjoy some of the best views in the city. After knowing Santiago, we will arrive to Barrio Lastarria, famous by it cultural, inherited and gastronomical offer. The second part of the tour will take you to the eastern side of the city, to the financial heart of Santiago, known for its modern buildings, impressive glass skyscrapers and its impressive sculptures designed by prominent national architects. There, you will see exactly why this area is known as “Sanhattan” among the locals.

Day 2: Full day tour Valparaíso & Viña del Mar
Known as the “Garden City”, for originally being surrounded by largely green areas and for now preserving its extensive and beautiful urban gardens, with the Pacific Ocean as its backdrop, Viña del Mar is undoubtedly one of Chile’s unmissable destinations. Viña del Mar stands out for its beautiful architecture, its impressive palaces and famous Flower Clock, photographed by tourists from all over the world. During the tour, you will have the option to have lunch in one of the numerous restaurants in the city, with a variety of delicious sea food on offer. We will travel along the sea front, and enjoy the views of the Pacific Ocean, before arriving at the most important ports in Chile; Valparaiso. It was listed as a Unesco World Heritage site thanks to its colorful beauty and the uniqueness of its location on the hills, which create a natural Amphitheatre with the ocean as its stage. We will visit Cerro Alegre, where you can truly appreciate the magic of the city, with its picturesque funiculars, multi-colored neighborhoods and unforgettable sea views. We will then head to the Sotomayor Square, to see the Monument of the Heroes of Iquique. Once in the port, there will be the option to take a boat out around Valparaíso’s bay to enjoy the views of the colorful hills from a different perspective.

Day 3: Santiago, Punta Arenas & Puerto Natales
After breakfast, get ready for flying to Punta Arenas. A private transfer will take you to the airport on time.
Upon your arrival to Punta Arenas, get your luggage and then, get close to the bus station, where your bus will pick you up. After reaching Puerto Natales, our staff will escort you to your hotel.
Puerto Natales is the gateway to the Torres del Paine National Park and outdoor adventure in the Patagonia region. The small town is located on the Señoret Channel along a scenic fjord, set against the dramatic backdrop of the southernmost peaks of the Andes. As a tourist hub, you’ll be able to find great food, supplies, and more to fuel up for your trek, along with local attractions to explore.

Day 4: Torres del Paine National Park & Milodon Cave (Full day tour)
The excursion begins visiting the Milodon Cave, a natural monument located on Benitez Hill, 25 kilometers from Puerto Natales, where in 1895 were found remains of extinct animals like Sabre Toothed Tiger, American Horse and a large mammal known as Milodon. It is necessary to walk for half an hour to go into the cave and observe the stalactites, places where the remains were found and a replica of Milodon. The excursion continues bordering different lakes such as Sofía, Porteño and Toro toward the park, which is a biosphere reserve founded in 1959 with a surface over 242.000 hectares. Here the landscape changes drastically becoming unforgettable due its dozen lakes populated by marine birds, and in the background granite picks dominating the area. Turquoise lakes, waterfalls and mountains covered by ice are the predominant landscape inside the park. The trip continues with a walk on the shores of Grey Lake, where blue icebergs can be seen, and in the background the vast Grey glacier. After lunch a walk for 15 minutes into the park is necessary toward the Waterfall (Salto Grande), which is communicating two big lakes inside the park; Nordenskjold and Pehoe Lakes. The road takes us to the Nordenskjold look out and bordering Sarmiento Lake finally arriving in Laguna Amarga, from where we will have a panoramic view of the three “Towers of Paine”, always depending on the weather conditions.
Once we leave the park you will be able to enjoy the most diverse landscapes, such as, the magellanic deciduous forest and the vast Patagonian steppe dominated by the wind and aridity. On the way is possible to find two species members of the local fauna: the Patagonian guanaco, South American camel and relative of Llama, and the endemic lesser Rhea (Ñandu), relative of the African Ostrich. Before arriving in Puerto Natales we will observe the little village of Cerro Castillo and Figueroa Lake.

Day 5: Day at leisure at Puerto Natales
Today you will have the chance to visit the Patagonia on your own.

Day 6: Puerto Natales to El Calafate
Today we will take you to the bus station. Where you will begin your trip to El Calafate, Argentina. This scenic trip, takes between 6 or 7 hours, app. Bordercross Papework may delay the trip.
After reaching El Calafate, our staff will take you to your hotel.

Day 7: Full day tour Perito Moreno
The Perito Moreno Glacier rises majestically 80 km away from El Calafate. This is one of the largest and the only advancing glacier in the world, as well as the biggest attraction at Los Glaciares National Park, a 600,000-hectare protected area covered by an ice mantle. We will start by penetrating the Patagonic Andean forest and make a first breathtaking stop at “Curva de los Suspiros” (Curve of Sighs), where we will enjoy a first view of this incredible natural wonder. When we approach the glacier, we will walk down the catwalks to approach the Glacier and admire from different panoramic points this wonderful creation of Mother Nature.
We will be able to contemplate very closely when varied-sized ice blocks loosen and fall into the water with a great thunder becoming beautiful ice floes in the deep waters of the Lago Argentino. This day will be an unforgettable experience, a once in a lifetime delight.

This activity is an ideal complement to the Perito Moreno glacier tour. It will allow us to appreciate very closely this wonder of nature. We will sail out of Bajo de las Sombras Bay port, 7 km away from the glacier’s catwalks, down to the southern side of the glacier. On our way, we shall contemplate ice blocks falling off until reaching the southern point of Los Témpanos canal, until reaching the standing point 300 m away from the southern wall of the glacier, where we shall stop to admire its greatness.

Day 8: Full day Glaciers
Once on board we will sail through the North Arm of Lake Argentino until we reach the Upsala Channel, where we will find a spectacular Iceberg Barrier, and if the location of the icebergs allows us, we will be able to get near the glacier`s wall. Afterwards we will navigate the Spegazzini Channel, where we will observe the Seco Glacier to reach the front of the Spegazzini Glacier, the highest in the National Park. Return to Punta Bandera Port. Transfer from Punta Bandera Port to Hotel..

Day 9: El Calafate, Buenos Aires

Half day Buenos Aires
At the first stop discover the history of May Square, the site of the most important historical events and their protagonists since its foundation: see its surroundings, the most emblematic buildings, and learn all about them. Then enjoy May Avenue and wonder in awe at the oldest residential neighborhood in Buenos Aires: San Telmo. Walk along its cobble-stoned streets and discover its antiques shops and picturesque buildings.
Live and feel the original Tango in the neighborhood of La Boca: walk along Caminito Street and enjoy the dancers and souvenir shops. See the mythical Boca Juniors soccer stadium. Contemplate the modernization of the city whilst traveling along Madero Port and its exclusive docks, full of excellent restaurants and large offices. Pass through the Retiro neighborhood and move on to see Palermo and its most exclusive residential area before finally arriving at Recoleta. Once there, discover the final resting place of Eva Peron, “Evita” and wander through Recoleta Cemetery where she is to be found.
